3.2 The sign of the three

Sherlock is terrified: John asked him to be his best man for his marriage. Sherlock has a speech to make. A real speech in front of real people.

He will do it in his so particular way, avoiding a murder at the same time.

My favourite moments

• Lestrade losing his nerves, and then flying to Sherlock's rescue: so cute!
• Sherlock's jealousy about Major Sholto
• The whole speech !
• A rational and reasonable stag night...
• Sherlock's perception and behaviour altered by alcohol.

What do we learn ?

• Scotland Yard do solve a case sometimes... Though slowly.
• Sherlock secretively loves dancing.
• We get a good notion of Sherlock's point of view about love.

In a serie of three episode, the second one is the only one in which the main plot is less important -though present. Thus, it is not a surprise if episode 2 are my favourite ones... They are more "free", more funny, they give more importance to second roles.
In the sign of three, Sherlock shows his childish side when his friendship with John comes to a turning point; everything will be different, and Sherlock has to accept to lose John, in a way (a kind of unwilling but deserved revenge from John).
