1.2 - The blind banker

Sherlock is called by an old acquaintance. An intruder came in a high secured bank and painted a mysterious sign on a painting. The bank wants to know how he did it.
Soon after, the trader working in the office where the intrusion occured, commits "suicide". Or so it seems... He was coming back from a trip in China.

My favorite moments

  • A subtle and quite sensual Chinese ceremony of tea
  • Sherlock's weird "dance" in the bank
  • John going back to work, dating his colleague... Back to life again
  • Beautiful and epic circus acts, especially the one with unwilling performers

On the whole, a very good episode, thanks to the whole Chinese story. The relationship between the brother and the sister is especially dramatic.

What do we learn ?

  • We see a big part of John Watson's CV (see below)
  • Sherlock has understood that he can use Molly's devotion for him.
